Global Market and Technology Leader seeking a Traveling Service Technician. This Jobot Job is hosted by Amber Wood. Travel locally to client sites to repair industrial equipment. Install, maintain and troubleshoot automated storage and retrieval systems as well as sawing equipment. Work on electrical systems, low and high voltage (24V to 480V). Troubleshoot, change and install electrical components, motors, drives, HMI, PLCs as well as sensors and actuators. Inspect, replace and install mechanical components like chains, sprockets, bearings and shafts. Inspect, change and rebuild hydraulic components (hoses to valves and pumps or motors). Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on machinery. Perform daily/weekly inspections as assigned by site supervisor and follow lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; keep tools in good condition. Communicate required documentation for repairs and maintenance performed. Disassemble broken equipment for repair and reassemble when repairs are complete. Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals and schematic diagrams. Safely adjust, connect or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing and other parts. Test machines after repair and ensure proper operation of material handling and sawing machinery. Use programming devices for fault tracking and parameterization of electrical control devices (PLC’s). Participate in all quality, safety training and job certification requirements. Comply with company policies and perform any additional duties as assigned, including visiting other customer sites. Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 1 year technical school, or 4 years on-the-job training in an industrial maintenance environment. Ability to use multimeter for electrical troubleshooting; use power tools for mechanical repairs; troubleshoot PLCs. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively; proficiency with basic math and measurement units. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work in varied environments with travel. Benefits and Additional Details
