Location: Ambrose, TX | Job Req ID: 15021 Join Our Amazing Team And Contribute As a Batch Plant Operator. The candidate must batch products using computer or manual controls, use a proper mix, make necessary raw material adjustments, and perform daily plant maintenance while providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. This position is located in Ambrose, Texas. What You'll Accomplish
Efficiently batching concrete using computer or manual controls, adhering to proper mix designs, and making necessary raw material adjustments as directed by the Quality Control department. A strong understanding of the correct application of each mix design is essential. Using computer or manual controls, batch product with proper mix and make necessary raw material adjustments. Understand the proper use of each mix design. Complete customer orders, schedule deliveries, handle paperwork, and perform small plant maintenance. May operate front-end loader or other material handling equipment to charge plant with aggregate, sand, or other materials. Assist plant management as needed with other duties as assigned. Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times. Effectively communicate with drivers to efficiently complete customer orders. Schedule deliveries to meet customer needs. Perform daily plant maintenance, including manual lifting, shoveling, lubricating plant components, and making minor plant adjustments. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Interact professionally with both internal and external customers. Communicate effectively with team members to optimize productivity and efficiency. Conduct daily inspections of plant and equipment. Prioritize tasks effectively. Collaborate with plant management to identify and address current and potential issues. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and company policies. Promptly report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. What We're Looking For
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Professional Experience (Required):
Minimum of 1-3 years of related customer service or dispatch environment experience. Computer Skills:
Dispatch systems, Personal Computer, Telephone and Telephone Headset. Basic computer and mathematics skills Sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time Climb on equipment, stairs, and ladders as needed Walk on all types of surfaces (uneven and/or slippery ground conditions) and enclosed spaces Work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry, and/or dusty conditions. Must be willing to work overtime as needed which will include Saturdays and overnights Additional Requirements
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests. What We Offer
