Overview Construction Manager – Logistics Facilities (Confidential Client – Retained Search)
Location: Open to candidates in or near any of our office locations (Southern California preferred).
We are conducting a retained search on behalf of a confidential client in need of a Construction Manager to join their team and support preconstruction and construction operations for a growing pipeline of logistics facilities across the U.S., with potential for international work.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative from the ground up. The Construction Manager will work closely with internal teams and the client during the preconstruction phase, supporting budgeting, planning, and operational execution.
What You'll Do
Oversee and manage preconstruction services for logistics facility projects
Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and logistics plans from concept through construction
Provide constructability reviews and support value engineering efforts
Collaborate with developers, design consultants, and subcontractors to align project goals
Ensure seamless handoff from preconstruction into execution and construction phases
Monitor progress and performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
Partner closely with leadership on operational strategy and best practices
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in both budgeting and construction operations
Strong background in logistics, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects
Developer-side experience is a strong plus
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Must be able to work from or near one of our office locations – Southern California preferred, but we are open to other locations for the right candidate
