Structural Design Engineer
Our client is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of safe, accurate, and cost-effective metal building systems. In this role, you’ll ensure structural integrity, quality, and performance across a wide variety of projects. Responsibilities
Design structural steel, wall/roof panels, secondary members, and bracing systems. Perform structural analysis using specialized software for frames, bracing, cranes, mezzanines, and panels. Collaborate with detailing and project teams to communicate design requirements. Review and check structural drawings for accuracy. Pursue ongoing professional growth and contribute to innovative engineering solutions. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus preferred). Strong knowledge of structural building codes (IBC, AISC, ASCE, AISI, etc.). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry. Proficiency with metal building design software.
