Journeyman Ironworker
Job Summary
We are searching for experienced and reliable ironworkers for various structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects.
This specific project is at TSMC in north Phoenix. The scope of work involves erecting trusses at the 100' elevation. Candidates must be able to work at heights, work off iron only, and perform bolt-up and tensioning of bolts. No equipment can be used for access. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, as site hours will range from 50–60 hours a week. Immediate start is a plus.

Responsibilities
Knowledgeable in layout, rigging, connecting, bolting, and welding steel by following prints and instructions while guaranteeing all quality and safety standards are met.
Cut, position, and bolt down steel bars to reinforce concrete.
Erect steel frames.
Drill holes into steel for bolts.
Bolt or weld pieces in place.
Set reinforcing bars into forms to hold concrete.
Tighten cables.
Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Must be able to lift 70 lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel.
Possess an OSHA 10 or higher certification.
