This position will oversee the installation, monitoring and maintenance of our industrial equipment. It will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, including installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Director Maintenance Responsibilities
Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Troubleshoot and maintain engines, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment and production-related equipment. Collaborate with specialty suppliers for quotations on parts, repair and manage execution. Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics. Read and interpret engineering blueprints. Install new production equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks. Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area. Work with facility managers to continually update the production process and system software. Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools. Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications. Maintain parts and tools inventory. Prepare maintenance reports and summary presentations using daily activity logs, analysis and trends. Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via ongoing training, industry workshops and technical reading. Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines. Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required. US work authorization is required; the company will not sponsor work visas. Successful candidate will satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check. Desired Qualifications
Advanced technical or college training preferred. Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics. Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment. In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance. Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
