Mechanical Drafter Job Description
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional capable of handling various tasks and diligently meeting deadlines. This role involves working closely with the onsite Superintendent to design drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and AutoDesk Inventor. Responsibilities
Develop detailed drawings including Structural Steel Drawings, Tank Drawings, and Pressure Vessel Drawings. Create Pipe ISOs and perform Project Take Offs. Assist the Mechanical Engineer with estimating projects. Request quotes for upcoming projects. Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM). Perform other duties and meet additional customer needs as required. Essential Skills
Proficiency in mechanical design and drafting. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and AutoDesk Inventor. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications. Detail-oriented work style. Ability to manage multiple projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical Drafting Degree, or currently in progress. 0-3 years of experience in the field. Willingness to learn new products, concepts, and technologies. Work Environment
The position involves collaborating with an onsite team, utilizing technologies such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and AutoDesk Inventor. The work environment encourages continuous learning and professional growth. Job Type & Location
Contract to Hire position based out of Dundas, MN. Pay And Benefits
