Summary Statement This position is responsible for evaluating and developing metal powder products, powder processing, handling technologies and providing technical support to customers.
Nature and Scope This position reports to the Technical Manager.
Essential Function
Work closely with production and quality team to understand and improve powder processing, handling, and testing challenges.
Support implementation efforts for statistical process control.
Operate and maintain pilot and analytical lab equipment.
Lead production scale-up activities for new or modified products or processes.
Provide technical support for marketing of metal powder products.
Support product and technology transfer within group companies.
Initiate and maintain product technical data sheets and specifications.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgic Engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, and a related field experience of minimum 3 years.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Experienced with SPC.
Strong organizational skills & ability to multi‑task and establish goals, objectives, and schedules to complete projects.
Ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement techniques to quality and manufacturing functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Principal Accountabilities
Product & process development, modification and continuous improvement.
Reviewing, identifying and defining product specifications.
Other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager.
