Wabtec’s Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems Project Management team is recognized as an industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects, involving signaling, train control, communications, and back-office solutions with a strong focus on project execution, project management, schedule adherence and customer satisfaction. How will you make a difference? As a Wabtec Sr. Signal Engineer/Checker, you can make a difference in our customer’s experience. You are responsible for reviewing railway crossing design and process with the Project Manager and/or Customer.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related degree 8-10 years Signal experience preferred. Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) Strong written and verbal communications skills Must be current with all FRA rules and regulations.

Typical day

In this role, you will review railway crossing designs in varying complexities. You will keep a project log containing all pertinent information and any scope changes throughout the project and supervise and coach designers and engineers assigned to the projects.

Salary and benefits

The salary range for this role is between $89,100.00-$126,900.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
