$37.50/hr - $44.50/hr Job Summary

The Site Lead/ Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of HVAC equipment. They will be assigned a variety of work tickets related to the maintenance of the facility including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing. They will also assist and mentor the General Maintenance Worker located on-site with their daily tasks. Pay Rate:

$44.50 per hour total compensation. This will be a union position Shift:

Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Essential Job Functions

Performs the maintenance, diagnostic testing, overhauling, installation, and effects repairs on a large variety of types of refrigeration, dehumidification, air-conditioning, ventilation, and heating systems equipment and control. Act as Site Lead to mentor and guide GMW with their assigned work tasks Analyze, plan, and perform preventative maintenance of HVAC systems throughout the facility. Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant plumbing, electrical, safety, and building codes. Ensure the proper working order of the major mechanical and electrical components of all facilities Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment Assemble and connect pipes and ducts used in piping refrigerants, steam, hot water, and warm or conditioned air Overhaul and repair pumps, compressors, controls, piping ducts, and other equipment used in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems Calibrate thermostats Repair and maintain a variety of refrigeration unit systems Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions Troubleshoot, repair, and make modifications to HVAC systems Adhere to all city, state, and federal regulatory statutes Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and Federal regulations Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC Equipment Properly maintain and safeguard assets Maintain safe chemical storage as deemed Attends all necessary training Perform other duties as assigned Seniority level
