Field Service Technician/Mechanic – 2nd Shift

We are looking for experienced field technicians who can troubleshoot electro‑mechanical problems, perform unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment, and provide excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do
Mandatory work hours: Monday‑Friday 2 pm‑11 pm.
Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical problems, installations, unscheduled repairs, and scheduled maintenance on equipment based on customer demand.
Provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner while working in a team environment.
Analyze breakdowns of customer equipment and recommend the necessary action to correct the situation to the customer.
Perform repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional and productive manner.
Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment for contracted customers according to Carolina Handling policies and procedures, proactively addressing needed repairs with customers.
Maintain parts and supplies inventory in service van and perform van service.
Follow customer’s safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at the customer site.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
Mandatory work hours: Monday‑Friday 2 pm‑11 pm.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred one to three years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in a similar environment or equivalent education.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and co‑workers.
Understanding of industry innovations and product availability to make customer‑focused recommendations.
Ability to safely operate drills, grinders, presses, forklift, hoists, overhead cranes and hand tools.
Ability to draw upon available support resources from within the company and recognize when it is appropriate to do so.
