Senior Electrical Estimator
to join our team and play a key role in supporting our growth in North Carolina. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the entire estimating process for commercial and industrial electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and profitability from concept to completion Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to fully understand project requirements and deliver competitive, winning bids Analyze drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine optimal materials, wire runs, and outlet placements in compliance with NEC and local codes Research market trends and pricing to produce precise material and labor cost estimates Review and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure project accuracy and cost-effectiveness Evaluate project risk, profitability, and feasibility to support leadership in strategic bidding decisions Oversee awarded projects during early phases, providing guidance to project managers and ensuring alignment between estimated and actual costs Continuously refine and improve cost-estimating methods to minimize gaps between projections and outcomes Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience
in electrical estimating, with a strong track record on commercial and/or industrial projects Expert ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents In-depth knowledge of NEC codes, installation standards, and industry best practices Demonstrated ability to manage complex estimates and large-scale bids efficiently Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills Experience mentoring junior estimators or supporting estimating teams is a plus Proficiency with
Trimble (Accubid), McCormick, and Bluebeam
