Overview
Power Design is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in Power Design’s growth by supporting timely bids, accurate and comprehensive electrical estimates for multifamily and commercial projects within our Change Order department.

Position Responsibilities
Manage estimating processes and timelines to meet client deadlines
Communicate with operations teams and customers to define the project scope
Keep detailed, organized notes of your work in Change Order team pipeline
Analyze and interpret construction drawings (blueprints) and specifications
Prepare and conduct onscreen quality overlays, takeoffs, and descriptive narratives
Allocate costs into the project budgets
Prepare and present completed estimating proposals to Operations team and clients
Provide leadership, direction, and training to assigned estimating team members
Willingness to commit to this fast-track position for a minimum of 16 months
Here’s What We’re Looking For
A motivated problem solver with a focus on customer service and five to ten (5-10) years of relevant electrical estimating experience
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with very strict deadlines
Excellent communicator who is comfortable around higher management while being organized, detail-oriented and efficient
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software (Accubid preferred)
