Landscape Architect
to join our growing
Huntsville, AL
team. We are seeking a creative, self-motivated individual who thrives at critical thinking and problem solving. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow professionally and personally in a fun, collaborative environment while working side-by-side with department leaders and other design team members across a range of project types, both public and private. This role requires a combination of strong design skills, project management expertise, and excellent communication abilities.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Lead and manage landscape architecture projects, including planning, design, and construction phases
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met
Develop and present project proposals, designs, and plans to clients
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
Assist in design and design graphic creation when required
Minimum Qualifications
2 to 5 years experience
A leader who is able to manage client relationships and expectations
Ability to think critically and problem-solve across a diverse range of objectives and tasks
Demonstrated passion for design, with a keen ability to conceptualize and craft exceptional spaces that inspire and engage
Working knowledge in the following programs:
AutoCAD
Photoshop
InDesign
3D Modeling Software
Provide work samples or portfolio upon request
Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge in one or more of the following programs:
Lumion
Illustrator
Land-FX
SketchUp
Rhino
