Evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime. Establish production schedule for all secondaries departments of production to meet customer and shipping deadlines. Work closely with Casting Supervisor and Shipping to prioritize work flow through all departments and ensure shipping deadlines are met. Strive to increase productivity across all product lines. Maintain and help enhance all aspects around Corporate and Plant Safety policies and programs. Continue to improve leadership abilities in order to increase subordinate’s skills and capabilities. Responsible for training, process improvements, KPI reporting, employee relations within casting departments. Participate in cross functional team activities including Safety, Process Engineering, Quality, Scheduling, Maintenance, Management, and Monthly Ops review. Engage in and promote participation in Safety Awareness, VCPs, Process Mapping, Kaizens, and Recognition to lead a culture focused on change with a winning attitude. Work with Production Manager to create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels. Responsible for yearly vacation scheduling of Manufacturing Hourly employees. Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned. Champion safety, health, and environmental issues. Required Skills And Abilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic math skills Highly motivated and metrics/KPI data driven Ability to work in noisy environments Ability to work extended hours when required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required Ability to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push and pull material Strong time management and priorities management skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office; BPCS experience a plus Education And Experience
