Zoetis
Zoetis’s Veterinary Medicine Research and Development (VMRD) Product Quality group is seeking highly skilled, detail‑oriented, forward‑thinking Quality Leaders who will be active members of vaccine, biopharma and pharma co‑development teams. They will provide input on co‑development strategy—including clinical/PK supplies, design of experiments, analytical method development and transfer, registration batch manufacture, submission planning—and collaborate with Zoetis Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Responsibilities
Represent VMRD Product Quality through product development, collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize processes and drive innovation, and develop solutions to improve business processes and reduce compliance risk.
Interpret and stay updated on relevant regulations and guidelines from health authorities.
Ensure all processes, documentation, facilities, and products comply with GMP and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain a proactive, adaptive approach to evolving project needs and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Apply a quality‑embedded mindset to define appropriate actions based on industry, customer requirements, and business environment.
Lead investigations, corrective/preventive actions, and change control activities in the design phase within quality management systems.
Partner with GMS Quality Operations during the qualification and verification phases to ensure seamless process transfer and knowledge management.
Identify opportunities for automation and integration of technological solutions to simplify compliance tasks and improve quality.
Demonstrate resilience through challenges, maintaining composure and guiding the team during change.
Basic Qualifications
Experience across technical disciplines—chemistry, analytical, formulation, bioprocess development—demonstrating constructive influence on product development teams.
10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or graduate degree.
Quality Operations experience, strong leadership skills.
Ability to work independently at a high level.
Strong interpersonal skills and accountability in day‑to‑day interactions.
