Electronics Technician - Aviation
Future Aviation Inc., a HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI) Repair Group facility, located in Southwest Florida, is the largest independent regional airline component MRO facility in the industry. We are currently seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team.
The Electronics Technician must accurately repair and overhaul various aircraft electronic components in accordance with applicable technical data as well as perform inspections as required by the FAA.

Responsibilities - Electronic Technician
Fully analyze component maintenance manual, all required blueprints, drawings, work orders, and sketches to troubleshoot, repair, and install desired product or part.
Detect errors and correct through proper departmental channels.
Professionally train and lead other team members in proper work techniques.
Schedule items through the shop to maintain on-time deliveries.
Inspect and check components prior to installation to prevent damage.
Skills
Must have 5+ years micro components experience.
Must have 5+ years board level experience.
Must be able to read and interpret technical data and component maintenance manuals.
Must be able to read and write the English language.
Must be proficient in the use of tools & equipment.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
