We are hiring a Permanent, Full‑Time, Experienced Mid‑Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Morristown, Tennessee.

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification obtained, up to $700
Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 every quarter
Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
Hours: First Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
Conduct standard vehicle maintenance, component inspections, and repairs.
Execute preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical and electronic problems.
Identify root causes of failures and perform necessary repairs.
Replace defective components as instructed.
Perform facility maintenance duties.
Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints.
Utilize shop management system and electronic documentation.
Adhere to federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT).
Perform additional support duties as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Vocational or technical certification, post‑secondary degree or technical certifications preferred.
Basic tool proficiency required.
Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work).
Two (2) years or more of combined classroom and work experience (preferred).
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
Must be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire.
Pass a Ryder drug test.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
