Starr Motors is seeking a full-time Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Suffolk, VA. Candidates must be skilled in auto maintenance, have strong attention to detail, and possess a commitment to quality. Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Auto Technician Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance Fast learner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills Team player Computer literate Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Valid driver’s license High School Diploma We are an equal opportunity employer and value at our company.
