Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
A long-standing manufacturing company in the East Atlanta area is seeking a Tool & Die Designer to join its engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone who started in the toolroom, mastered die building, and then moved into progressive stamping die design. You'll design dies in SolidWorks/LogoPress and see your tooling built and run in the same facility, true concept-to-production ownership.
What You’ll Do
Design progressive and transfer stamping dies using SolidWorks (LogoPress preferred)
Support full die lifecycle — concept, design, build, tryout, and production launch
Work hands‑on with toolmakers on the shop floor to ensure proper fit‑up and tooling function
Create BOMs, assist with quoting, and review manufacturability
Troubleshoot die performance and recommend improvements
Support continuous tooling and process improvement efforts
What You Need
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
Strong understanding of progressive die functions, strip layout, and tool build flow
Ability to collaborate closely with toolmakers and press room teams
Pride in craftsmanship, precision, and problem‑solving
