St. Joseph Health College Station Hospital is a 167-bed facility that offers a Level III Trauma unit. Awards Accredited Chest Pain Center Certified Primary Stroke Center Joint Commission-accredited joint replacement program. Case Assignments Diverse anesthesia cases include obstetric, general, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, orthopedic, pediatrics, and urology. Shifts Work 73, 24 hr. shifts per year and receive full compensation and benefits. Team Leadership: Jonathan Walker, CRNA and Aaron Ray, CRNA. Team Highlights This care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and assuring delivery of excellent care. Responsibilities Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Lifestyle College Station, TX is a great area to find anything to do, whether you're with family and friends, or looking to explore this great city by yourself.
