Opioid Treatment Therapist or Counselor (CADC)

to join our team in New Bern, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission As a member of our mission‑driven team, you will be the catalyst for recovery, transforming lives from day one. You will deliver person‑centered therapy and case management to individuals recovering from opioid addiction, conduct assessments (licensed therapists only), develop Person‑Centered Plans (PCPs), set meaningful recovery goals, and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.

You will also document progress in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, coordinate with medical and support staff, provide crisis intervention, connect patients with community resources, and ensure compliance with federal and state OTP regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive pay for this full‑time, Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2 pm position.

What We’re Looking For

OTP Therapist: Full or provisional LCAS, LCSW, or LCMHC and experience in substance use services.

OTP Counselor: CADC or CADC‑I certification and experience in substance use services.

Ability to accurately diagnose mental health and substance use disorders.

Knowledge of evidence‑based therapeutic practices, group facilitation, and crisis intervention.

Strong documentation skills to meet federal, state, and licensing requirements (e.g., NCTOPPS, treatment plans, releases of information).

Collaborative mindset to work with physicians, nurses, and other professionals.

Familiarity with Medication‑Assisted Therapy (MAT).

Proficiency with EHR systems or strong technical aptitude.

Maintain a valid state‑appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance.
