Field Service Representative (2nd Shift) - Radiology - New York, NY. The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct on-site emergency service, preventive maintenance and installation support to end user customers while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The role supports service zone revenue targets with sales-related responsibilities and requires willingness to apply sales skills as needed. Typical work involves extensive travel, exposure to X-rays and magnetic fields, handling contaminated products, lifting heavy equipment, and a work week that approaches 50 hours with on-call duty as needed by the Zone Service Manager. Travel can be up to 75% within the territory. The candidate should live in or around New York, Long Island, Newark or Jersey City. Your Tasks And Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at end-user customer sites using approved Bayer documentation. Schedule and organize own work activities to ensure efficient operations. Organize and re-order inventory valued at approximately $20K to ensure quality work and minimize defective or incomplete on-site visits. Responsible for proper return of all defective inventory for replenishment. Price service calls and, when appropriate, offer discounts or convert to full contracts. Generate service revenue of up to $500K within the assigned work group (individual revenue may vary). Prepare and develop sales quotes and follow through to close the sale. Contact end-user customers, purchasing agents and Bayer dealers to finalize orders. Interface with Service Admin/MSRC billing processors to ensure proper and timely invoicing; assist in collection activities within the territory. Generate customer interest and communicate to the Service Marketing Representative as needed. Generate and communicate sales leads to the respective sales representative for new products or disposable opportunities. Maintain company car, perform regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation) and keep tools in good working order valued at $35K-$45K. Ensure all proprietary information is safeguarded from non-Bayer personnel (e.g., Service & Training Manuals, Diagnostic and Calibration software, BIT keys). Who You Are

Required Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Electronics, IT Networking, Computer Science or a relevant discipline with 2 years of applicable experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline. Equivalent Military Experience/Training in Electronics, Aviation, IT, Computer Science or related fields with 2 years of applicable experience can be considered in lieu of a degree. Technical trade skills in soldering, electrical installation & troubleshooting. Prior experience in a customer-facing role. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with flexibility and good judgment. Ability to prioritize workload to maximize revenue. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with company databases and CRM systems. Ability to travel within the assigned territory and nationally, including overnight and extended trips. Must hold a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Device & Radiology business. Prior experience in a Field Service role and/or regulated industry. Salary: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $64,000 and $94,000. Additional compensation may include overtime pay and/or a bonus or commission where applicable. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave. This salary range is an estimate and may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.
