Field Service Technician/ Industrial Mechanic
Triad Service Center is seeking a qualified
Field Technician
for service and repair of light industrial equipment in the St. Louis, MO area. Equipment includes floor scrubbers, sweepers, handicapped carts, checkout lanes, paint shakers, and other commercial customer equipment found in large retail or industrial locations. Technicians will also install and service grease containment units used with deep fryers. This position utilizes a company vehicle regionally and requires a valid, good-standing driver’s license. The position is primarily Monday-Friday, averaging 40 hours a week. Vehicle, tablet, cell phone, and PAID TRAINING are provided. Starting Pay Range: $22-$27 Our Technicians' Typical Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:
Have strong mechanical aptitude to diagnose, repair, and complete service calls and scheduled PMs on light industrial equipment. Provide customer service by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on customer equipment on-location. Visually inspect, test, and listen to machines to locate malfunctions; dismantle parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other issues. Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate machinery components. Stay organized by scheduling repairs and PMs in similar locations on the same day, as time permits. Maintain records and report work orders, parts, supplies, and daily agendas. Submit daily work orders, agendas, timecards, parts orders, and all required paperwork. Treat company equipment responsibly and follow PM guidelines for company vehicles. Additional Information:
Travel up to an average of 300 miles per day. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 100 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Typically Monday-Friday; weekends and after-hours work possible with emergency pay. On-call ends at 11 am EST on weekends and holidays. Observe safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and use equipment properly. Maintain excellent attendance, respond promptly to service requests, follow instructions, and take responsibility for actions. Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving skills, complying with regulations. Benefits:
