We are currently hiring a mid-level Mechanical Engineer in our Building Engineering Division - Energy Infrastructure team in our Rochester, NY office. Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Overview

LaBella's Energy Infrastructure team provides comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable energy consultancy, including feasibility analyses and design of mechanical systems. Our engineers are well-versed in all aspects of building and energy systems design relating to a variety of new construction, renovations, and design/build projects for a variety of clientele. Responsibilities

Lead design of building HVAC systems and district energy systems Field investigations to document existing conditions Selection and calculations for design purposes Work with junior engineers to develop and review project drawings and documentation Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost-benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements Qualifications

8-10 years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred Well-rounded experience in HVAC and hydronic system design Preferred: experience designing geothermal or district energy systems Experience with Revit or AutoCAD New York State Professional Engineer's license is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Salary
