Job Details Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour.
1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (hours may vary depending on operations).
Duties And Responsibilities
Carry out tasks as directed by the department supervisor or team lead.
Engage in the assembly process, utilizing techniques such as sewing, cutting, clipping, and hooking to transform raw materials into sub‑assemblies or final product.
Affix labels and tags to products and their packaging appropriately.
Utilize scanning equipment.
Inspect work visually for defects according to quality standards.
Prepare finished goods for shipping by packing them effectively.
Monitor production progress on schedule boards.
Report any equipment or material discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Uphold cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
Perform general labor duties across various departments.
Assist with hemming and the relocation of finished materials to trucks, utilizing overhead cranes and forklifts.
Serve as a positive role model consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands Mission, Vision and Core Values.
Provide cost‑saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste.
Must be willing/able to work overtime.
Must be able to read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules.
Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned.
Team player and keeping safety first.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a related area is preferred.
Must have basic Microsoft knowledge.
Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

This is a position with potential overtime. The shifts are 8‑hour, 10‑hour, and 12‑hour long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
