Responsibilities IES Residential is currently seeking

Residential Electrical Helper

in the Las Vegas, NV shop.

Key Responsibilities

Assist electricians during rough-in by measuring, cutting, and bending wire using hand and power tools.

Help install electrical components including outlets, lights, switches, and fixtures.

Carry, hold, and organize materials required for completing projects.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Communicate effectively with team members and take direction from supervisors and licensed electricians.

Promptly report any unsafe working conditions or incidents to the appropriate person.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.

Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership potential is a bonus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel occasionally and work in various locations as needed.

Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.

Willingness to relocate is a plus.
