Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Furnace/Caster

Gerdau invites an experienced industrial maintenance electrician to join our furnace and caster operations. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on heavy industrial equipment. Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic controls on industrial equipment. Perform routine maintenance on shop machinery, HVAC systems, PLC networks, and cranes. Use diagnostic equipment (voltmeter, oscilloscope, multi‑meter) to identify and resolve abnormalities. Maintain records of work performed, repair details, and material usage. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and specifications at an intermediate level. Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. 3–5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting experience. Intermediate knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and control systems. Intermediate knowledge of PLC and high‑voltage power systems. Intermediate knowledge of HVAC controls and electrical schematics. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes. Ability to work a 12‑hour rotating shift days, nights, and two weekends a month. Benefits
