The Department of Radiology is a top‑tier department with world‑renowned faculty and staff.
A full‑time Musculoskeletal Radiologist (MSK) faculty position is available in the Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. This position will support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. Ideal candidates will be competent to cover all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging. Rank and track will be commensurate with experience and credentials of candidate.
This position is assigned to work at University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities. Hospitals support PACS and voice recognition dictation. UCMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center with an active transplant program and an IR Clinic with dedicated nursing support.
Musculoskeletal Radiology Section has a solid partnership with UC Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. We collaborate on shared research projects, and faculty responsibilities include imaging and treatment of Division 1 Collegiate Athletes from all UC sports teams. UC Radiology has an imaging center in Nippert Stadium with recently updated state‑of‑the‑art MR and Ultrasound capabilities offering a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Nippert Stadium is the third oldest football stadium in the NCAA and MSK radiology staff enjoy being part of the UC game day traditions.
UC Radiology offers a non‑ACGME‑accredited fellowship program with two fellowship positions per year. The MSK section faculty has numerous shared educational resources, including a large PACS‑based teaching file.
Essential Functions
Staffing at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and other UC Health facilities as well as teaching and supervision of residents, medical students and fellows.
Minimum Requirements
Ohio medical license.
MD/DO or equivalent degree.
Completion of four years Radiology residency/post‑graduate training.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Completion of 12 months of musculoskeletal imaging training.
Fellowship training and subspecialty certification in musculoskeletal imaging.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
