Henry Ford St. John Hospital, 22101 Moross Rd, Detroit, MI 48236 Position Details:
Part-time, 24 hours/week, midnight shift (11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.), every other weekend and holiday rotations. Sign-on Bonus:
$4,500 Job Responsibilities: Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in diagnosis. Prepare and position patients for imaging and select exposure factors accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and regulations. Observe patient during procedures and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and suggest updates or refinements. Follow radiation safety procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure. Ensure high-quality images and documents are sent to PACS, with correct markers and data. Ensure equipment functionality and report malfunctions. Maintain a clean and organized department. Position patients and select technical parameters accurately. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or Technical degree within 6 months of hire. Certifications/Licenses: BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential in Radiography obtained within 12 months of hire.
