Job Description ABM is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance HVAC Technician to join our team immediately. Bring your expertise to a company that values your contributions and invests in your future.

The Maintenance HVAC Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing repairs on assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and other mechanical, electrical and building systems to eliminate downtime and ensure optimal client relations.

Lincoln, AL Schedule:

8 days on / 6 days off, 2 pm‑12:30 am

Compensation:

$22–28 /hour (salary range; final offer depends on experience, education and market data)

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and electrical components.

Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Identify maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services.

Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Work at various heights, including extended periods in elevated environments.

Ladder climbing and operating various lifts (scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.).

Qualifications

3–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial/industrial).

EPA 608 Certification.

High school diploma or GED.

Strong understanding of building systems and safety protocols.

Ability to work at heights and operate various lifts.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Skill in using hand and power tools.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
