Job Summary Draw/coordinate on a large variety of new and existing construction projects based on information derived from MEP construction drawings.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED is required.
Preferred Qualifications One or more years of electrical design experience or technical training is preferred.
Job site/field experience is preferred.
Experience in the electrical construction industry is preferred.
Key Skills and Competencies Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret design and construction documents.
Thorough understanding of electrical systems.
General working knowledge of common computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of construction software applications, including Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Trimble.
Must have a thorough understanding of Autodesk Revit, including the ability to create Revit worksheets, manipulate Revit families, and perform similar Revit functions.
Must be fluent in the 2D and 3D space and be able to read 2D plans and coordinate in 3D with other trades.
Attention to detail and the ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously, changing priorities as necessary.
Must be a team player and possess the ability to share valuable information with team members to increase department expertise.
Must be able to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

Draw/coordinate on a large variety of new and existing construction projects based on information derived from MEP construction drawings.
Setup of Revit views and sheets in preparation for field installation
Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation
Utilize Bluebeam Revu software to markup PDF drawings and communicate with team members
Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties
Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or other project websites (BIM 360, etc.).
Verify accuracy of work before sending on to next steps.
3D modeling of all electrical systems and developing design drawings.
Utilize BIM to increase the team's understanding of problems and solutions and assist the construction and field team in solving issues throughout the project.
BIM coordination and preparation of field and pre‑fab drawings, reports, and schedules
Maintain project files
Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity and learn how to use all software options
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Individual salaries will be assigned based on consideration of a combination of industry experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other factors pertaining directly to the essential functions of the job.
