As a Waterproofing Technician, you’ll be responsible for the installation and application of various waterproofing and sealant systems in a safe, professional, and high-quality manner. You’ll support field operations, foremen, and superintendents to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to Deluxe’s high standards.
Responsibilities
Apply and install a variety of waterproofing systems, including sheet-applied, fluid-applied, and cementitious coatings.
Perform caulking and joint sealant applications using polyurethane and silicone systems (sausage gun, beauty bead finish).
Assist in preparation, mixing, and cleanup of job materials and work areas.
Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA and fall protection regulations.
Maintain communication with foremen and office staff through DeluxeField for daily reporting, timekeeping, trainings, and photo documentation.
Use power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Lead with integrity and take pride in upholding Deluxe’s reputation for quality workmanship and professionalism on every job site.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in waterproofing or a related construction trade.
Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely.
Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Must own a smartphone (used for timekeeping and coordination via our field app).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (occasionally more with assistance), stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts when required.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
