Job Summary Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with nursing care procedures and as directed by supervisor. Preserve resident dignity, honor resident rights, provide excellent customer service, communicate appropriately, and adhere to federal and state compliance regulations.

Essential Job Functions

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, ambulation, toileting, and other needs.

Ensure daily tasks are completed: beds are made, trash is removed, meals are served, and hygiene is maintained.

Take vital signs, report observations, and any changes in condition to the nurse.

Practice infection prevention and control measures in compliance with federal, state, and facility requirements.

Document accurately and promptly in the CNA ECS flow-sheet.

Make routine rounds, ensuring safety precautions and equipment are in place and functional.

Prevent skin problems by providing timely incontinent care and repositioning residents as needed.

Assist the Activities Department with resident activities.

Essential Qualifications

Education : Certified nurse's aide according to Florida law; Medical Technician Certified; CPR Certified.

Experience and Basic Knowledge : Preferably at least 6 months working with older adults in a healthcare setting.

Experience

Preferred: 6 months in long-term care.

Licenses & Certifications

CPR Certified

Medication Technician Certification

CNA Certification
