We’re seeking a skilled Assembler to support production operations in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate will follow computer-based work instructions to install parts and hardware on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) using hand tools and fixtures. This position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to strict safety protocols in a lean manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble wafer fabrication equipment using hand tools, torque wrenches, and fixtures.

Read and follow detailed schematics, diagrams, and computer-based work instructions.

Verify parts and components prior to installation and perform visual inspections.

Support production schedules by working collaboratively with team members.

Assist with audits and complete assigned tasks, including rework and pilot builds.

Document completed work accurately, including Cell Fusion verification and task closure.

Follow all cleanroom and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and ergonomic lifting practices.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts and communicate production issues or improvement ideas.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1+ year of hands‑on assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.

Proficiency using hand tools such as torque wrenches, calipers, screwdrivers, and hoists.

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical instructions.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Training or certification in ESD, safety, or equipment assembly.

Location & Employment Type Onsite in Fremont, California

Full‑time | 12‑month Contract (with potential for extension)

Pay Range: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour
