We are looking for a
Junior eDelivery Consultant
to join a major government digitalisation initiative focused on secure data exchange and interoperability. You will work alongside senior consultants and technical experts to design, implement, and maintain eDelivery and API‑based integration solutions across complex system environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to strengthen their expertise in eDelivery networks, API management, and service‑oriented architectures, while contributing to an impactful, long‑term transformation project.
Responsibilities
Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of
AS4 and eDelivery network components
Assist in implementing
4‑corner models
and managing
SMP/SML components
Participate in the development and testing of
RESTful and SOAP‑based web services
Apply
OpenAPI standards (Swagger, YAML)
and support API documentation and modelling
Contribute to
API security setup
(OAuth2, OIDC, WS‑Security, PKI, Snyk)
Help define and document technical processes following
SOA and microservices principles
Support the creation of
qualitative technical documentation , reports, and recommendations
Participate in
Agile/Scrum development cycles , contributing to sprint planning and reviews
Assist with
CI/CD pipeline setup , testing methodologies, and automation practices
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on API design, testing, and performance validation
Participate in
incident analysis and troubleshooting
during integration testing
Document and maintain
system workflows using UML and BPMN
Work with tools such as
Jira, Confluence, GIT, SOAPUI, Postman, and ReadyAPI
Requirements
Higher education in computer science, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum
1 year of professional experience
in eDelivery, API integration, or related technical roles
Excellent
communication skills in English
(French or Dutch is an asset)
Hands‑on experience with:
AS4 and eDelivery networks ,
4‑corner model ,
SMP/SML
Web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL, XML, JSON, XSD, XPath, XSLT)
API standards (OpenAPI, Swagger, YAML, JWT, JWK)
Security protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, PKI)
Agile/Scrum methodologies
and version control ( GIT )
Testing tools
such as SOAPUI, Postman, and ReadyAPI
Modelling tools
(UML, BPMN) and documentation tools ( Jira, Confluence )
Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to write and present clear technical documentation
Additional information
Location:
Remote (with occasional visits to the client's HQ)
Language:
English (French or Dutch is a plus)
