Operations and Maintenance Technician Floater

Overview We are hiring for an Operations and Maintenance Technician Floater with at least 3 years of experience to work in our Services department. This position reports to a Regional Service Manager and will ideally be located in Vernon, CA.
Duties And Responsibilities
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Perform routine maintenance on various operating CNG compressor equipment, including, but not limited to, pumps, valves, meters, rotating equipment, and other equipment
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters
Ensure that all station equipment, including safety devices and systems, are functioning properly and report any equipment failures to the supervisor
Conduct daily walk-around inspections to identify potential risks and maintain good housekeeping standards
Ensure that all vendors accessing the station follow Company Policies and Procedures
Maintain 24-hour on-call status
Service existing accounts by routinely contacting customers, handling calls, and conducting routine site visits
Respond to emergency and preventative maintenance calls in an organized manner
Book travel and track expenses
Document service actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
Qualifications And Skills
Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience, troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Coursework or certification in electronic technology preferred
Good communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Computer skills and ability to read schematics
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel to other locations
Work Hours and Arrangements Expected hours: no less than 40 per week.

Pay The base pay range is $32.00/hr - $38.00/hr, with potential bonus for eligible positions. The actual salary offered will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, market considerations, and geographic location.
