Delivery Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts. This role involves delivering parts and products to professional customers, collecting payments on C.O.D. deliveries, and handling customer returns, while maintaining store vehicles and supporting store operations. Compensation
Pay range: $14.81 - $21.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance incentives or premiums paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Essential Job Functions
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean and maintained; perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operation. Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, hand-held devices, and monies secure at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips. Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and secure the vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, running errands, core returns, and stock order processing as needed. May occasionally assist customers, act as a cashier, or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. All other duties as assigned. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities
Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations; driving record must meet company standards in the 14/18-point system; legally required state driver's license and driving eligibility as required by the company. Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts; ability to operate other light store equipment; multilingual ability (Spanish highly desired). Total Compensation Package
