Our Opening The Industrial Project Manager leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance treatment facilities that strengthen our communities. This position manages projects from planning through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while controlling cost and schedule. The PM serves as the primary client interface and internal leader, fostering collaboration across preconstruction, engineering, and field operations to achieve exceptional outcomes.

What Would You Do as an Industrial Project Manager?

Lead all phases of project execution—from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while maintaining schedule and budget performance.

Hold key responsibility for client management and the ultimate success of the Project Team.

Collaborate with the architect, engineers, and construction team to ensure feasibility of each project.

Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure project scope and vision are understood and implemented.

Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized.

Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.

Review projects daily to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.

Attend weekly review meetings to collaborate with team on project progress, allocation of resources, and schedule.

Assist in establishing new accounts by providing estimates and participating in proposals and interviews.

Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem‑solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.

Must be able and willing to create and maintain a good working relationship with all employees within the team.

Experience And Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field; five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in an operations, construction, or design role within the water and wastewater treatment facility, manufacturing or food & beverage industries; or equivalent education and experience.

Experience with MEP coordination, process equipment, and treatment technologies preferred.

Familiarity with state and federal funding compliance (e.g., SRF, USDA Rural Development, CDBG).

Experience managing engineer‑led design‑build, design‑bid‑build or CMAR delivery methods.

Possess a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and evidence of insurability.

Must be 18 years of age or older to safely work in a construction environment.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

A majority of work takes place in an indoor office setting equipped with a computer, desk, phone, and other typical office equipment.

Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.

Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.

Travel to other locations is occasionally required for meetings and trainings.
