Position Summary: This role involves planning, organizing, and directing survey work, including managing surveyors and technicians engaged in precise location and measurement tasks for construction, mapping, utility locations, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), land division, and titles. The candidate will promote safety, evaluate staff progress, and represent the company in client meetings.
This position is not eligible for employer sponsorship except for TN visa classification.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage multiple field crews and ensure quality control
Monitor project budgets and billing
Manage client relationships and business development within the discipline
Lead and develop team members through leadership and performance management
Nonessential Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of survey plan preparation using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Required Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
12+ years in surveying
Registered Land Surveyor in Virginia
Knowledge of federal, state, and local surveying regulations
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with utility locating, VDOT, and municipal standards
Experience with aerial mapping, LiDAR, and sUAS
Working Conditions: Office work predominates, with occasional fieldwork in various weather conditions. Some lifting required.
