(ATI), a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, is an FAA/EASA Part 145 Repair Station supporting rotary and fixed-wing components for commercial and military platforms worldwide. ATI is seeking a Quality Inspector with FAA Part 145 experience for an immediate full-time, direct-hire position in Hollywood, FL. Role:
The Quality Inspector performs preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles for airworthiness, as well as military and industrial parts, based on technical data provided by manufacturers. The role requires reading and understanding Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, and other FAA-approved data, and performing return-to-service inspections. Responsibilities include:
Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products according to specifications and legal requirements, including visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical, and functional tests. Conduct complex inspections requiring specialized equipment and data interpretation. Understand and apply FAA Part 145 repair station procedures and data. Manage and review work orders, monitor progress, and ensure proper sign-offs. Sample and test incoming components and raw materials, tracking results. Ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet standards. Apply approval or rejection labels based on analytical data. Produce inspection reports as needed. Minimize downtime by reducing rework and recalls. Work independently and support team members. Work overtime and weekends as required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum five years of relevant experience in a FAA Part 145 repair station, with at least four years as an inspector. At least two years inspecting engine components. At least two years in dimensional inspection. Preferred Certifications:
Airframe and Powerplant license. Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Basic mathematical skills. Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Organizational skills with attention to detail. Good interpersonal skills and flexibility. Familiarity with liquid penetrant and radiographic inspection methods. Physical and Work Environment:
Must frequently stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, and communicate. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards. Noise level is low to moderate. Additional Details:
