VNE, LLC seeks a Secret Cleared Drafter CAD Operator IV. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in drafting or illustration (desired) or High School diploma/GED. Two (2) years of experience with degree or five (5) years with HS/GED in drafting/illustrating in electronics, including AutoCAD and digital imaging. Experience with DoD processes and procedures. Proficiency with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Jira. Secret level clearance required. Job Description: This operator works closely with design originators to prepare precise drawings or models of complex or original designs, ensuring issues in manufacturing, assembly, and operation are addressed. They exercise independent judgment in interpreting data based on design intent, may interpret general designs, and provide guidance to lower-level drafters or coordinate large projects. Essential Duties: Communicate task requirements clearly to clients. Sit and stand for prolonged periods; participate in meetings and workgroups. Use visual acuity for keyboard work. Attend work during scheduled hours unless on travel or approved leave. Work extensively on computers and communicate via phone, email, and face-to-face. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color perception, and focus adjustment. Possible exposure to chemicals from office equipment. Moderate noise level typical of office settings.
