Job Description Alpha One Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor plays a critical role in creating a positive customer experience by greeting customers, listening to their concerns, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate communication between customers and the service department. This role also includes maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
Obtain detailed customer and vehicle information
Clearly document all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts
Establish and communicate realistic follow-up times
Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and provide customers with timely updates
Verify that final invoices align with the work performed on repair orders
Explain completed work, charges, and recommendations to customers
Coordinate with technicians to ensure customer concerns are addressed
Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
Qualifications
Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
Minimum 1 year of service department experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license
Strong knowledge of automobiles and repair processes
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
Past experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify issues quickly and provide clear recommendations
Proficiency with dealership management software and willingness to learn new programs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Professional appearance and energetic personality
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods of time
