What We Are Looking For We are seeking a skilled Roving Maintenance Technician for the San Diego Conventional (North County) area. This full‑time position offers
benefits
and a pay range of $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
Address resident service requests related to maintenance, ensuring prompt resolution.
Oversee property turnovers, inspections, repairs, and cleaning to prepare units for new residents.
Maintain community curb appeal, including landscaping and exterior maintenance.
Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and property management team members.
Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergency services as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Drive locally for business purposes related to property management maintenance.
Other duties as required.
Requirements
1–2 years of hands‑on apartment maintenance experience.
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
Ability to operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, grinders, testers, HVAC and plumbing tools).
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer focus and passion for exceptional service.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and on‑call rotation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
