Your Role Operations Manager I Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Flexible Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay. This is a hands-on position with a focus on strategic thinking and leading warehouse management activities. The successful candidate must be proficient in warehouse management systems, Excel, and enterprise systems like Sage. You will lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse managers responsible for inbound, outbound, and inventory control functions. Adaptability and implementation of standard work procedures are essential for success.
Essential Functions What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading all warehouse operations from inbound to outbound shipping, implementing standard processes using Sage.
Evaluating and coordinating cost-reduction initiatives with the 3PL project manager through data analysis.
Maintaining inventory records with customer-specific nomenclature in our systems.
Leading inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Tracking transportation and distribution of products.
Analyzing supply chain and inventory data to ensure product availability.
Coordinating inventory requirements with vendors and customers.
Managing inventory surplus, returns, variances, and damages.
Managing local delivery drivers and inbound deliveries.
Ensuring safety protocols and security badges are followed.
Preparing for inspections and audits.
Leading safety, ISO initiatives, and lean manufacturing processes.
Required What We’d Like to See from You:
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and lead standard work process implementation.
Strategic leadership skills with data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of inventory and quality management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
Experience with local transportation, drayage, fleet management, and compliance.
Physical ability to push/pull 75 lbs and lift 50 lbs.
Highly Desired Additional preferred qualifications:
Degree in a related or technical field.
5-7 years of leadership in transportation, warehousing, or distribution.
Experience with ERPs like Sage, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite.
Trainer for forklift and pallet jack operation.
Class A or B driver license or delivery experience with safety training.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
