A leading digital streaming network seeks a
Streaming Rights Management Coordinator.
The successful candidate will document all rights in connection with the distribution and licensing and its partner brands, including but not limited to Rights “In” and Rights “Out”, as well as assisting with the onboarding of Rightsline across multiple teams and ingesting and enhancing archival data.
Responsibilities
Transfer Excel data into other formats, large data sets, concatenation, naming conventions, library, format of television such as the numbering, metadata synopsis, data with scheduling and contract rights.
Help streamline the rights management database under the supervision of and in collaboration with the Director, Rights Management
Work with content providers to secure and understand available distribution rights.
Review and analyze rights from content providers to then summarize and record into the rights management database.
Review and analyze rights from license and distribution agreements to summarize and record in the content management database, including heavy data entry and metadata enhancement.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience with rights management or library management.
Experience with entertainment.
Rightsline and Airtable are preferred.
Interest in/understanding of Live Sports and News programming is a nice-to-have.
Experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing various agreements including but not limited to license, distribution, commissions, production, rights acquisitions, digital rights, etc.
Working knowledge and understanding of various rights such as AVOD, SVOD, Pay TV, EST, PPV, Free TV, basic cable, Fast Channels, etc.
Excel expertise and experience working with and understanding databases and content metadata.
Interested in working on TV data.
Shift
8 am to 5 pm - Pacific Time office hours.
