General Purpose The Lead, LP Operations will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing execution of cross‑functional LP initiatives, operations, and compliance for Ross and Dd’s Stores.

The position will provide guidance during project initiation, planning, and during implementation to the field and drive results through effective project leadership support, communications, planning, analysis, compliance, and cross‑functional relationships with key business partners.

The base salary range for this role is $77,900 – $117,050, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, etc.

Other rewards vary by position and location.

Essential Functions

Develops project timelines, budgets and monitors key deliverables for all projects as assigned.

Supports projects associated with, but not limited to, Loss Prevention, the Buying Offices, Shortage/Inventory Control, and Store Operations.

Creates procedures, communications, guides and forms to ensure strong Loss Prevention execution in Stores.

Manages the daily operations of current programs, initiatives, and processes (including awareness programs, merchandise protection, SPS training programs, the PSO program, External Theft Apprehension program, etc.).

Leads project/program finances including establishing project costs, creating capital expenditure requests, reconciling invoices and credits.

Supports the merchandise protection program by reviewing merchandise protection devices and strategies across the industry.

Supports internal and external theft case compliance.

Performs other duties related to the Loss Prevention Operations Team, as directed by the Sr. Manager, LP Operations.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

Bachelor's degree.

Concentration in Criminal Justice, Finance or Business preferred.

4‑5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Retail management experience that includes project management and business process ownership in Loss Prevention, multi‑unit or a hybrid of field.

Detail oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Communicates effectively in both verbal and written forms to multiple levels of the organization.

Demonstrates ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and rapidly changing priorities within a fast‑paced environment.

Self‑motivated individual with excellent analytical skills and conceptual ability.

Consistently meets or exceeds deadline requirements.

Able to navigate and build strong business partnerships.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Maintains confidentiality concerning all projects.

Physical Requirements/Ada Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in‑person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

This role requires regular in‑office presence for in‑person team interaction, meetings, collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and feedback, but can perform duties effectively using a combination of in‑office and remote work.
