Overview
Receiving Office Crew Lead works in receiving office alongside Receiving Supervisor making sure received items are handled efficiently. Leads supports receiving operations in their department. Their duties include handling stocks and all paperwork, maintain the receiving area clean and organized, implementing record-keeping procedures, and other duties assigned by Management
Accountabilities
The Lead directly supervises all activities for incoming products and materials.
Works as an assist to on Duty' Supervisor alongside receiving personnel.
Ensures all incoming material is accurately entered into the system.
Ensures incoming product is inspected and notes any shipping damage.
Responsible for all Docs pertaining to product received (Attaching Receiving Logs, filing of Docs, Scheduling Receiving).
Works alongside Supervisor on duty to assign, direct, review and monitor work of supervisors to maximize productivity in the warehouse.
Ensures proper procedures are followed for efficient warehouse and receiving activities.
Recommends improvements to reduce cost and drive productivity within the department.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Assists with daily tasks and EOM.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills Required
High school diploma / GED
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Familiar navigating through Windows operating system.
Ability to analyze data and suggest/implement process improvement.
Ability to multitask.
