Job Overview: We are currently seeking one experienced Boiler Operator / Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at a high-capacity commercial laundry facility in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time, first shift role requiring a Minnesota 2B or higher boiler license. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in boiler operations, equipment maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure boilers and related systems in accordance with state regulations
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility machinery, mechanical systems, and infrastructure
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Work collaboratively with production and other maintenance staff to minimize downtime
Requirements:
Valid Minnesota 2B or higher boiler license (First-Class A or B preferred)
2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial setting
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Willingness to work first shift and respond to occasional emergencies or overtime needs
Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team
