Assist Financial Advisors (FAs) in the ongoing development and maintenance of effective client relationships, with a heavy focus on providing financial planning support. May participate in client meetings, but not in an advice-delivering capacity. Work closely with the FA to understand clients’ investment objectives, financial situation, and tolerance of risk. Keep assigned FAs informed of all pertinent information and activity related to client accounts and transactions, including issues related to client suitability. Assist FAs in organizing and implementing productivity-based campaigns. Be knowledgeable of products and technology and comply with all firm and regulatory rules; anticipate potential issues and alert the FA and/or Branch Management as necessary. Compose effective client correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures. May accept client orders and complete requests in clients’ accounts on behalf of their FA. Interface effectively with home office departments and branch associates. Provide excellent telephone service to clients and potential clients, including prompt, accurate, and timely attention to detail; ensure continuous telephone coverage. Perform other duties as required that contribute to the overall effectiveness of the branch office and individual FAs; may also perform some operations responsibilities for the entire branch in small branch offices. High School Diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) ChFC or AWMA designation or completion of CFP educational requirements Completion of relevant training as determined by Janney Excellent customer service skills Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and financial planning software Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Strong attention to detail Able to work effectively as part of a team High ethical standards Why work for us?
